MAC's Strobe Cream now has a permanent place in my kit. No feedback online can attest to this moisturizing ability at all. The cream is advertised as a moisturizer, but this doesn’t seem to work.

MAC Strobe Cream is the ultimate quick fix for skin now in shades of pink (Original), peach. Her foundation stayed in place and very refreshed looking through a grueling 5 hours of intense stage lighting. AC Strobe cream is great for giving you a glow and that it works well only when combined with a foundation. A radiant moisturizer that boosts the look of dull skin and illuminates with iridescent particles. I liken using this product to giving the skin a big 'ol drink of water. Some may say that it's because of the illuminating properties, but I think there's a little more to it than that. Her skin was not overtly dewey looking like some similar products have a tendency to do.
I applied foundation, and it looked fabulous. After applying this product, (I applied it over moisturizer) I noticed that my model's pores were significantly smaller and her complexion had an overall refreshed look. For the texture, it gives smoother looks to your skin. It has a creamy texture, so it feels smoother than the powder highlighter. It gives a subtle glow to your face you don’t have to use a highlighter. This cream can be used before or with your foundation. With this cream, you only need a small amount.a little goes along way. MAC Strobe Cream MAC strobe cream is an illuminator. I was pleasantly surprised with the result. MAC Strobe Cream also works exceptionally well as a base if you are a fan of layering your highlighters (liquid formulas first, with a dusting of powder highlighter after to set it) You can even cocktail the cream with your foundation to give it a little shimmer and create a hybrid product with lighter coverage. I did not mix it in with a moisturizer I applied it straight from the tube to the face blending it in with a flat paddle foundation brush. I used this product as a primer for a foundation application. I have used similar products with stronger illuminating pigment properties before, so that aspect of the cream is off the table for me, but there is something about this cream that I really like. MAC states that this product acts as a vitamin packed illuminating moisturizer of sorts.
